Over Easter we had a great family holiday and explored a small area of County Donegal. One overcast cold day we ventured to Dungloe and around the headland past Maghery and Meenacross. It was an amazing headland. As we drove there were many scenes that caught our attention, however, I love trees, especially when they are standing alone. As we drove past this scene, I debated about stopping, in the end I did. It was just before a hail storm hit. This was my first shot of a sequence. While this was handheld, the rest were shot on a tripod and missed the beautiful light captured here as the clouds enveloped the area and the hail fell.

The western coast of Ireland is a sight to behold, so much rugged land to explore., this is just a small scene.
