There's no greater privilege and no greater fear when it comes to taking a friends wedding photographs.

On St Paddy's day the sun shone and we had a photographic feast, Mandy & the bridesmaids looked beautiful.

Mandy's attention to detail was incredible, with the kids loving the stilt walkers, flame thrower and bubbles, we felt like we were at a carnival.

This was the last wedding of the year, it was a lovely mild day and we had the fun of shooting some of the Elaine & Richard's photos at the Ulster Folk & Transport Museum.

It was lovely to end the year at such a beautiful location and with such a great couple...

Last Friday the sky caught fire, it was an amazing sunrise...

My original plan was to head to Crawfordsburn to catch the early morning light, however heading down the M2 I noticed very few clouds and the sun was starting to throw out those beautiful rays... So I needed to get to a place where I could shoot the sun coming up, so Strangford Lough was were I headed... 

On reflection I was glad I got the sun rise as it quickly disappeared behind the clouds a few minutes after it rose...

I love Black & White photographs, and particularly old men portraits...

When I walked around Guacamayal there were so many people I wanted to take photos of, however out of the hundreds of photos I took, I actually took this and thought "this is one of the best shots I'll take all week"

However by the end of the week I still believed this would be my favourite and when I brought it up on my screen it remains just that...
